AMASCO designs and fabricates pressure vessels conforming to the requirements specified by A.S.M.E. boiler and pressure vessel code (Section VIII Div.1).
As a Pressure Vessel Manufacturer we pride ourselves as being one of the Middle East’s top Pressure Vessel Fabricators. AMASCO can certify pressure vessels (pressure retaining items) for new builds, alteration / modification & repair as per ‘R’, ‘U’, ‘PP’, ‘NB’ and ‘S’ stamp codes, applicable as per ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers). We also received our DNV approval to manufacture Class I & II boilers and pressure vessels. This covers all certified works that can be carried out on pressure vessels as per class requirement. Our in-house facility equipped with heavy-duty rolling machines, 6m x 6m column & boom welding manipulator with 125 ton rotators fitted on rails, PWHT furnace, hydro testing equipment & blasting / coating facility, allows us to produce process towers up to 30m in height / length in minimum time.
We have built quite a number of Pressure Vessels, including Process Towers for RAK Gas. Plus we have built very large pressurized silos for the mud-handling systems on the semi-submersible rigs. Our heavy fabrication work is not only constrained to PV’s, of course. We also undertake structural work, tankage and general fabrication with blasting & painting facilities in both Dubai & Umm Al Quwain. The UAQ facility has quayside access for larger structures - and ships/supply vessels. UAQ workshop has a 3 metre width x 16mm rolling machine for lighter vessels. Our PWHT furnace, large vessel hydrotesting facility and blasting & coating room are also situated at UAQ for completion of the larger vessels after fabrication in Aweer workshop and prior to delivery to the client, by road or by barge from our quayside. The heaviest pressure vessel produced was an amine contractor, weighing 60 ton, 23m high & with 65mm shell thickness.
